Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a preview of the new Hanna Andersson store in Marlton, NJ. Located in the Promenade at Sagemore, Hanna Andersson is surrounded by great stores in an outdoor mall setting that lets you enjoy the fresh air while you walk and shop. With my mom accompanying me, I was thrilled to check out their newest store since Tomato wears so many of their clothes.
The Marlton store has a great layout. At todays’ opening, you are immediately greeted with their classic long john pajamas. Tomato lives in these some Saturdays and as an eco-friendly mom, I love that they are organic cotton pajamas. High quality fabrics and sturdy construction allow these pajamas to last and last and last. They are the thing I squeal about most when a bag of hand me downs lands on our porch. We buy our Christmas jammies from Hanna Andersson and as the geeks that we are, we love the Star Wars options this year! How cute are the R2D2 slippers! From today through Sunday, the organic cotton pajamas will be on sale for Buy One, Get One Free. Yes, you read that correctly, Buy One, Get One Free. We bought some new jammies in the next size up for Tomato so she can grow into them and have them for a long time.
One of my favorite parts about purchasing Hanna Andersson clothing is that they last. I view them as an investment. I know that they are going to handle the wear and tear of an active child, I know that they have invested their time in sourcing high quality fabrics, and as the mother of a girl, I love the ease with which the dresses become tunics and then shirts. As I spoke with CEO, Adam Stone, last evening, I told him that Tomato is now in the 100-110 sizing range for Hanna, but we just put away the last of the size 80 dresses yesterday. To have a dress last for 2 1/2 years of wear just cannot be beat.
One of the big debuts in the new store is the Hanna Home line. A beautiful mix of classic touches of embroidery and smocking and fresh modern design, these pieces easily transition from a little one’s room to a preteen’s space. There are even throws and pillows that I would add to our bed as well. The Marlton store is only the second store to carry the Home line in store. So, we are being offered a special treat here in South Jersey. If you have a little one getting ready to transition into a big bed or if you are ready for a new style for your child’s room, this is a definite stop to make and see what they have.
I loved seeing what they had in the new store, and we definitely came home with new dresses, tights, and pajamas. For this weekend only, Hanna Andersson Marlton will be giving away FREE organic cotton long johns to the first 500 customers! Plus, buy one/get one free Sleepwear and get 20% off your entire purchase. The doors open today at 10 am at The Promenade at Sagemore, so pop on over and see what great treats you can put under the tree this holiday season!
