Welcome to Tuesday Greens #39!

I am so excited to give you a sneak peek of some new gardening items that recently arrived for me to test out. I have some goodies from Terracycle. A new watering can, All Purpose Fertilizer, and a Recycled Plant Caddy for moving pots around to follow the sun. The latter is perfect for those herbs that I spoke about yesterday. I will be reporting back on how it all fares in a bit.

Our hot weather broke this week, so I got back to weeding. Tomatoes and peppers have been so touch and go this summer with the weather and our summer schedule. But zucchini, we are good for zucchini this summer.

Also, I scored a great set of trimmed bamboo. My brother in law spied them as they were being put out to the curb. I’ll just need to strip the leaves and I am set for tomato stakes for next year.

Last week, Mellow offered a great post about how her family stopped going to the grocery store. She has some great tips to follow and it’s definitely worth a read. Thanks for sharing such a great post, Mellow!

Do you make zucchini bread? I make one with blueberries. It’s a good way to get Lilly to eat fruits and veggies.

Good morning, Becky! I added two links today – one about our outhouse building project and the other about some black turtle beans we are growing in our garden. Thanks for hosting this linky party. Enjoy the rest of your week!
