Welcome to Tuesday Greens #27! We are back this week and so is the spring weather in the Philly area!

It is almost time to start the garden here at Crafty Garden Mama. Our fence is due to go in within the next week and once it is up, we can start weeding, prepping the raised beds and trying to figure out what we want to do along the fences.

In addition to new things getting ready to happen in the garden, I am making some updates to Tuesday Greens. I will now be doing a featured post from the week prior. I will highlight the week prior’s most popular post and you can grab our “Featured on Tuesday Greens” button from the sidebar to add to your site.

This week’s featured post comes from Good Girl Gone Green for her Hazelnut Milk recipe.

Speaking of starting a garden, what are the easiest veggies to grow?

I always find tomatoes are pretty good to start with. They like the heat, you can buy plantlings and they yield a ton per plant.

Thanks for hosting! DS4 and I did some veggie shopping at Home Depot yesterday. Burpee’s has heirloom seeds now. I grabbed a few packets to try this year. I’m also getting ready for Sunday’s Farm and Food Fest.

Thanks for hosting, my mouse or browser was bugging out and the screen greyed out when I had to choose my thumbnail – when I refreshed the page I can see another pic from the page was chosen and it’s definately not a pic of porridge as it should be! Could you please delete entry 14 (Raw Pear & Ginger Buckwheat Porridge) so I can submit the correct image. Thanx!
