Wordless Wednesday: Spreading the Warmth One Hat at a Time

by Becky Elmuccio on November 14, 2012

I am picking the needles back up again and will be taking pictures of what I am knitting. My goal is to make this my weekly spot to share my knitting, so wish me an my momentum luck. What I do have going is some baby sets for my friend, photographer Joei Brock, and a hat for Spreading the Warmth One Hat at a Time. This program has been spearheaded by my friend, Sarah from Finnegan and the Hughes. If you are a knitter, please take a moment to read Sarah’s flyer above and contact her about helping out the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Happy Knitting everyone!!

This is such a great idea, I wish I knew how to knit. I do have some family members and friends that knit and I will be passing this along. Thanks for sharing –

This is such a great cause! I wish I had the talent to do this. I can only crochet (sorta!) and I’ve only accomplished blankets. Proud of that though!

Good luck with your quest, so many good charities, I rarely knit for myself.

I always admired those who can knit, it’s a talent I’m afraid I’ll never learn!

Such a great time to pick up your needles and start knitting. I love this time of year partly because it makes me start again! Can’t wait to see your projects in the coming weeks!

This is a really great cause! We are working on a similar project through my church. I’d never thought to open it up to others in the blogging community.
